10 AM

Running 25:00 [3] 4.0 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: Inov8 oroc 280

Did quite an easy course on Iladalen (so that I could run fairly quick and not make any confidence destroying cock-ups).

Orienteering 35:00 [3] 4.0 km (8:45 / km)
shoes: Jalas X20

Middle Qual model. Nice bit of forest but still fairly physical as is typical around here. Hit most controls cleanly but still found a couple of controls where I could get some mistakes out of my system. Felt good physically but being cautious in the forest not to damage myself, so ended up pottering round most of it.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2] 2.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Jalas X20

Running 21:00 [2] 4.0 km (5:15 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

Long trip out to Trondheim - got out for a wee jog in the rain late on to loosen off the legs.

7 PM

Running intervals 12:00 [5] 3.5 km (3:26 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

4x 3mins in BE. In keeping with the pre-WOC propaganda everyone else on AP and worldofo is using I'd better say how amazing and fast and ready I was feeling

Running warm up/down 27:00 [2] 5.0 km (5:24 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

12 PM

Running 39:00 [3] 9.0 km (4:20 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

Nice cruise round BE. Felt good.

Running intervals 12:00 [5] 4.0 km (3:00 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

4x 3mins on the Kings Weston ridge. Probably did the first couple a bit fast (downhill) which meant the last couple (uphill) were especially tough. Felt a little heavy.

Running warm up/down 28:00 [2] 5.0 km (5:36 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

Note
(rest day)

Although I did do a bit of jogging about to watch the Blaise Blazer with Gracie - unfortunately her back is not in a particularly good way so close to WOC :o( Keeping fingers crossed for her.

Saw Timbo and Chris Palmer do quite well in the race though and my time from May didn't get beaten.
