Running 1:29:00 [3] 18.0 km (4:57 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

Nice run out in the sunny Cotswolds with 3 pretty big climbs. Felt fairly strong but a bit jaded by the end. Quite a good loop with some nice paths, views and woodlands. Up to Shortwood, Haresfield Beacon, Scottsquar Hill, Juniper Hill, Wickridge Hill, Whiteshill, Standish Wood.

Orienteering 12:51 [5] 3.0 km (4:17 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

Ran the JK Sprint course from 2007 hard having already hung bogroll round it (i.e. didn't need to look at the map much). Would've only been ~8th, but most of my splits were the same/quicker than OKO except where I tried a different route out and where some new building works pushed me round. The highlight was a 10mph road sign flashing at me to slow down.

Running warm up/down 47:00 [2] 10.0 km (4:42 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

Hanging bogroll, monkey around while Gracie ran the course, then some jogging round a few bits.

Running 1:01:00 [3] 14.0 km (4:21 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

Reasonable tempo steady run round the back of Blaise, Sea Mills, alongside the river, across the Downs, to the Britton's (said hi to Laura and picked up a map) and home. Felt alright.

Running hills 11:00 [5] 3.0 km (3:40 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

Really am not a fan of hill reps. 4x big hill in Blaise (river to castle) in 2.28, 2.23, 2.19, 2.19. Pretty wobbly and tight by the end. Then did an effort up Kings Weston Hill for a laugh. It wasn't very funny.

Running warm up/down 39:00 [2] 7.0 km (5:34 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

Blaise in the rain. Felt pretty good.

Running intervals 18:00 [5] 6.0 km (3:00 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

6x 3mins on the big grass field in Blaise (3 laps basically). Tired and not really up for this sesh, but bashed it out ok. Got shouted at by a kid in a playground to "Go on my son, put some welly in it" and then was disappointed only to get exactly the same shouted at me on the next lap. Judging by the shrill tone (i.e. the difficulty to tell whether it was a boy or a girl) the perpetrator would need to grow some pubes first before being able to have a son.

Running warm up/down 27:00 [2] 5.0 km (5:24 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

12min warm up, 8mins between reps, 7min warm down. Another thing I enjoyed today was finding a photo of my ass disappearing into a hedge in CompassSport with the caption "Are you allowed through that hedge?"

Running 1:07:00 [3] 13.5 km (4:58 / km)
shoes: Nike Pegasus

First Team Monday in a while and decided it was time I elevated myself to decider-where-we-goer. Took the lads (Keith, Matt, Tim and Mark S) on a magical mystery tour to Gracie's wood. Felt fine.
