Running 47:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings

Andy was chomping at the bit to go for a run with me today and eventually I succumbed to his relentless badgering. I don't know how I'm going to manage to do any training this winter/summer without my training buddy driving me on and shouting motivationally at me.

Didn't feel great today after a late night at the Princess Royal last night.

Note
(rest day)

Didn't feel great today after Rob got me drunk at the Ash gig last night. Bastard.

Running 45:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings

Did some of the old skool loop but obviously starting at Lodge Moor it isn't a true old skool. I didn't really feel very strong or fast. I have a feeling Middleditch actually went for a run today, although I could be wrong.

Running 55:00 [2] +185m
shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings

Gareth's put intensity 2 so I guess I'd better. Out through Rivelin to Headstone, then over and round back of Redmires Dams. Glad Gareth left before the answers to the pub quiz - he'd have been dead smug that Destiny's Child are indeed the biggest ever all girl group, and that Mike Catt has played in 3 World Cup semis (and even more smug than that cos we changed his answer to Lawrance Delaglio after he'd left). D'oh.

Running 59:00 [3]
(sick) shoes: Brooks Cascadia somethings

Cos I only shower after I've been running, my cold's meant that I've started to get quite smelly. So I went for a run so that I could have a shower. Legs felt unused and heavy and not breathing well neither. But glad I got out, almost over my cold, a nice winter evening, and met a proper Yorkshire guy who told me that "one day ahl be fit as thee".

Note

Is it always this cold in October, or am I going soft? I just noticed that I wrote "winter evening" without thinking about it, but really it's Autumn. Hmmmm. Doesn't really matter anyway, not gonna be my problem much longer!
