Afternoon trundle on a loop very similar to what will become my Monday morning regular (at least until we move house). Running in 30 degrees feels pretty normal now.

Did a bit more warm-up than this. Did 400m after stopping to put orthotics in my shoes and remove a few rocks, but it’s been a long time simce I needed a split button and I never restarted the watch.

First go at RRR track session. I got lost in the CQU north campus so was late getting there. Was expecting a crowd but there were 2 others there doing different things. Given that the most ‘sensible’ of those was 3x (10x200 hard:100 float) I opted to do something different again. Ran 6 x 400H:400E. Thought about doing 8, but figured 6 was enough that I’ll be sore tomorrow, and priority number 1 is still to not get injured. Felt really good to be striding out. Track was a little uneven and quite spongey, but that was fine with me.
