MTC Swim Warm up - 300 mixed 5 x 100 kick/swim Main Set - 2 x (2 x200 pull, 3 x100 fast easy, 4 x50 kick/swim, 4 x 25 sprint) Cool down 150 no free.
Felt weird not fast or smooth. Varied technique but nothing stuck.

MTC Swim. Warm up 300 mixed, 3 x 100 kick, 8 x 50 drill/swim & 4 x 25 All out cruise. Main Set - 7 x 100 descending, 50 easy, 5 x 10 fast, 50 easy and 3 x100 fast Cool down 300 no free
Seem to be better on TI drills. 100 m descending from 2:20 to 2:03. 2nd set - below 2:00. 3rd set 1:57, 2, 1:59. Found i was faster with no legs or dolphin kick.

MTC Swim! Warm up 200 swim, 150 kick, 6 x 50 drill/swim, 100 pull
Main Set - 6 x 100, 400 m, 6 x100, 400 pull, 50 easy 5 x 50 Cool down 100 easy.
Was hitting 2:00 for 100 m and 1:00 for 50. Working on my balance, long stroke, glide and core use. Seems to be working but I have trouble with the TI drills still.

MTC Swim Warm up - 200 swim, 4 x 25 kick, 6 x 25 drill, 4 x 50 build main set - 500 swim, 5 x 100 on 2:10, 500 swim. Cool down drills.
Was able to do the 2:10 pace time easy but did not get any faster than 2:03. 500 m times were slow at 10:40 and 10:45. Tried TI drills 1, 2 & 3 at end. Not great at any of them as I am a sinker.

MTC swim! warm up 400 mixed, 4 x 100 kick/swim, 4 x 50 build. Main Set - 6 x 150, 600 pull, 3 x 150, 50 easy. Cool down 150 drill.

Worked on arms in forward quad and TI drills 1 & 2. Speed seemed better but need to work on core strength. 150 times were 2:55 to 3:00 first set but slowed to 3:15 in 2nd set. Glide is still poor.

Straight north on 6th Line and back. Legs felt a little tired but average speed was good!

MTC Swim: Warm up - 400 mixed, 200 pull, 4 x 50 scull / swim, 8 x 25 build/backstroke . Main set - 16 x 50, 50 back easy, 6 x 50. Cool down - 100 easy.
worked on balancing my body in the water so I was generally below surface. Not sure if effective but 50 times were 1:00 to 0:57. Trying to vary arms and hands to return long stroke pulls.

Form sucked. Could not get hips and body to align.

MTC Swim. Light swim session. Warm up - 300 mixed, 100 kick with fins, 200 pull Main Set - 16 x 100 on 2:15 Cool down - 150 easy no free, 6 x 25 finger drill, 150 no free.
Stroke rebuilding!! Started from Tuesday's session trying to just get my head higher so as to get a clean downward arm entry and catch. Also trying it get a long body position. On the 100's started at 2:03 but was up to 2:07 by second repeat. Afterwards trying to improve roll and head position to reduce drag and started to down times back to 2:05. Felt good on 8threpeat but lost it after though I was able to hold a 2:05 pace or below. Roll, body tightness, catch and release are poor but I can build on those.

Moderate core workout to build strength but not tire for swimming. Legs were tight from Tuesday hockey.

MTC Swim warm up - 600 mixed, 8 x 50 drill / build. Main Set - 3 x 200 pull Breathe 3,5,7,9. 400 steady, 4 x 100 pull descending, 6 x 50 kick with fins.
Easy swim. Tried to keep head higher and body longer. Not sure if it was helpful!
