MTC Swim with Coach JJ. 8 x 400, warm up - mixed 400, pull 400, free steady 400, pull 400, free steady, pull 400, free steady 400 with fins 50 steady / 50 fast. Cool down - 200 choice.
Back tight on turns but felt fine otherwise. Worked on bent elbow pulls. Speed was low but steady.

Played defense. Back and knees felt tight but were fine once warmed up! Not a top speed though.

Still slow and technique is poor!

MTC Swim with Coach JJ. Warm up - 300 mixed, 6 x 50 drill / swim, 4 x 50 kick Main Set - 3 x 200 pull, 400 swim, 4 x 100 pull, 200 swim, 8 x 50 scull / swim, 8 x 25 alt fast easy. Cool down 50 easy.
Still not swimming fast 400 in 8:35, 200 in 4:15, 50's on 0:25. Tried a few things but it was difficult to determine the effect. 100 pull on about 1:50.

To and from the track 15 pickups. A bit tired after hockey. Right knee and left ankle not the greatest but generally okay. Burn - 400 kcal.

MTC Swim with Coach JJ. Warm - 800 m Main Set - 8 x 100, 600m, 6 X 100 faster, 400, 2 x 100 faster.
Speed sucks. Best I could do was 2:00 for 100 and fall to 2:10 by the end. Sticking with bilateral breathing and technique if possible.

Long ride as the weekend looked like rain. A wind to speak of and the average speed was over 26 kmh. Burn - 1000 kcal.

MTC Swim with Coach JJ. Warm up - 400 swim, 200 pull, 4 x 50 kick and 8 x 25 free/ back or breast. Main Set - 16 x 50 on 1:10, 4th one fast, 50 float, 12 x 50 on 1:15 with 3rd fast, 50 float, 8 x 50 on 1:20, with 2nd fast, 50 float, 50 fast. Cool down - 100 easy.

Technique was marginal and speed was not there. Best 50 was about 0:55.

Techniques sucked and swim times showed it. 4:05 for 200m

Cycle towards Waterdown with MTC, turning at Walkers Line. Legs got a bit tired on the way home but did not eat. Will have to eat on future moderate rides. Slow with group as there were multiple flats. Burn -1770 kcal
