Swimming race (Tre-X Short Triathlon) 9:02 [5] 0.35 km (25:49 / km)

Not my best swimming effort ever, but I have to admit, the butterflies were hanging around.

Mountain Biking race (Tre-X Short Triathlon) 55:00 [4] 10.0 km (5:30 / km)

Didn't do so well in this one. Pretty disappointed, better luck next time.

Running race (Tre-X Short Triathlon) 20:20 [5] 4.0 km (5:05 / km) vdot: 37.1
shoes: Asics GT-2130

Was way too far behind by this point to catch up. Huge muddy sections on the track... all good fun.

Note

Tre-X Short Triathlon
What an amazing day. Great atmosphere, awesome race and a huge setup. Definately like to see more orienteers get in to this. Good to be beating around the bush without a compass for once!
All in all - had a great time. So much fun doing a tri in the bush and mud. Swim was great, ride was awesome and run was sweet. So I got slaughtered by 12 minutes, so what? Ok so I am a little devistated... Next time!!!

Morning MTB ride with Simey & Olly from Lake Manchester (Cnr Kholo Road & Lake Manchester Road) up to Mount Nebo. Was fairly wet and slippery down the lower parts but further up was better. Around every corner, there was another climb and another hill. Was fairly epic. But really enjoyed it all the same.
Views would have been amazing if there wasn't so much cloud. So much fun cruising home on the downhill.
Olly & Simey really slaughtered me though, had no energy toward the second half of the climb. Then on the way home, any rise, they destroyed me. Was pretty furstrated and embarrased that they had to keep waiting for me at the top of each hill. Still, enjoyed and had an awesome day!

Had that pastey feeling in your throat since I woke up yesterday morning (still have it toda), the type you get when your just starting to get over a flu, but without the other flu symptoms. Hmm...

Street-O race 29:58 [4] * 6.9 km (4:21 / km)
19c slept:7.0 weight:66kg shoes: Asics GT-2130

Kuraby (1:10,000)
Long
Thought I had it all planned out and sorted, with the 6-loop and all. Then had Simey pull out in front of me at #5 (we started in differnet directions) so had no idea what was going on. Then I had to get another slightly further control to him and he had the lead going home. Bugger hey. Still, was very happy with this run - no major route choice errors (maybe could have run a bit faster?).

Not the best route choice ever. Despite the length, was very tricky route choice, had no idea what I was going to leave out for ages. Good stuff.
