Nice hilly ride in the Chilterns. Headed perpendicular to the ridges. Couple of big efforts on the Dudley lane (vineyard) and Balhams lane (Turville) climbs. Hayfever bad.

Toe lifts becoming easier - as advised progressed to do these single leg. But balance was really bad on the right foot...

3 x 5' (@ 6min/km @ 7% grad) [2' walk]

Run in orthotics. This felt ok whilst running and afterwards some signs of improvement. The following day experienced some soreness in lower shin - level with ankle when doing exercises, particularly toe to shin strength work. A bit more clicking than usual and a bit of soreness around peroneal tendon and back of the fibula head. Some general dull aches in calf but not the usual tightness. Forefoot continues to feel really good, no toe pain.
