shoes: Carrera Vanquish

First road ride of the year with Ruth. Out to Marlow, Turville, Henley, Warren Row.

Calf had been tight since Thurs. So ankle/shin feeling no better than 3 weeks ago when 20min run outside gave the same result.

First run outside in ages. Will be interesting to see what difference it makes compared to recent treadmill stuff. Using same shoes. Could feel my tight calf but nothing through the shin during.

Evening - not great, tight calf, generally ankle a bit stiff, worse than after treadmill.

Generally feeling easier now, HR seems a bit more normal at jogging pace. Nothing too bad from the ankle, a bit sore outside and a little in the calf but significantly better than a couple of weeks ago.
