running (dog run) 3:00 [1] 0.45 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Asics GT2000 Grey

Go up early to run the dog and to loosen my neck and shoulder from the ride on sunday. Got going and 200m in dog stopped for a poo. Did the right thing and picked it up in a bag and proceeded to plot my run past a bin. Got to the bottom of the street where i had to change from road, to driveway then gravel track when the dogged surged and my stride changed from landing on road to landing on kerb on an angle and the rest was history or shit if you get what i mean. Rolled around in agony for a few minutes on the ground until a traffic management guy who was sitting in his car 20m watching the whole scene decided to come across and ask if the dog was ok? Fuck the dog its my ankle i think was my response. Needless to say i realised after he was concerned about being mauled. He helped me up and asked where i had to get back and i said i would slowly hobble back up the road.

Long slow painful hobble home and a trip to ED to get an xray. Fortunately just a very sprained ankle. Last one of these was back in 2003 at the Easter carnival in Mundaring. Trip to ED wasn't exciting as the one I went on with OMT to Ipswich. In fact i was 1 of 2 waiting in patient room.
