Groton (MA) Town Forest 9.5 mile trail race. 6th Grand Tree Race for me this year. Waiting for final results to be published to know overall placing and points. Got 2nd 70+ to Fred Ross, who is a well known mountain/trail runner from VT. I read that he has run Mt. Washington every year for many years. Not sure how far ahead he was. Lost sight of him after the 1st mile. Now know that he was 10:20 ahead of me. Out of my league for sure.
