At Gay City on 10" of fresh powder.

Wilsons and back on lunch break. Sunny and pleasant but ice on trees was melting an falling on me the whole way.

This was supposed to be a pre-dawn road run through the neighborhood, but the icy mixed precipitation had made the road too slippery to run on with regular running shoes, so it became a fast hike/shuffle. Got pretty wet because the mostly sleet became mostly rain shortly after I got started.

Got home from the airport earlier than anticipated, so had time for a hike before heading into the office for the afternoon.

Rail trail from Rte. 85 in Amston to Rte. 87 in Columbia and back. Good memories of the times spent here with the kids when we lived nearby in the early 80's.
