trail running race 25:55 [4] 3.1 mi (8:22 / mi)
Alumni 5k at Wachusett Regional. 1st Male 60+of 6 entered. First time I have ever beaten Craig McCall and I've raced him alot of times since 1962. . Craig and another classmate of his from '66 were the only other 60+ runners I knew. Since this was the first time the race has been held on the new cross country course, I must have set the standard for old guys.

From Nathaniel Lyon Memorial north on Natchaug Trail to Rte. 198, then south along the river bank to Natchaug SF headquarters. Two owl sightings. Many differences between the USGS topo and what is actually on the ground in this part of the forest.
