MTB 1:10:00 [3]

First time out on the bike since Storm the Trent. I was a little worried about the pressure through the wrists on the handlebars and after about 45min (and one bumpy trail) the left one was letting me know it was annoyed. The right wrist (the broken one) felt pretty darn good.
Rode from my place up to Chedoke, west on the rail trail and crossed the highway then descended down to the bumpy bumpy bruce where we ended up out at Wilson St. Went up to the Heritage trail and back around to Westdale via the Monarch Trail.

Apparently my max speed was 67km/hr. Somehow I think my computer must have had a little glitch!

Note

Here's a small snapshot of the terrain Leanimal and I will be running through this weekend. Looks a wee bit hilly!!

Running intervals 30:00 [5]

Formtopping!! Followed MrPither's Norwegian interval regime this evening with 120/90/60/30s intervals with 60/60/30s rests. Did 4 sets with 2mins in between each.
Felt strong, and concentrated on improving my stride power/length by really leading with the knees. MrPither reminded me to have "fast arms" which helped a lot too.

Running hills 5:00 [4]

4 times Nancy Greene hill. Took it easier on the last two as visions of the Allegany google map contrours were dancing in my head.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

Running intervals 24:00 [4]

Well, I'm calling these intervals even though I felt like I was barely able to keep up a quick pace for very long. I guess maybe I'm still recovering from Sunday's run, or maybe it was the unbelievable speed of MrPither which humbled me.

Stairs 3:00 [3]

Not sure how long this really took, but I did 2 quick sets of frankensteps.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]

To and from Chedoke.

Running 45:00 [2]

Lots of starting and stopping as we ran around the Ancaster Old Mill race to cheer on our fellow TNTers.

TVP looked impressive. I'm not sure that I've ever actually seen him run on the road before! Well done TVP!
