Running 26:51 [3] 3.01 mi (8:55 / mi) +52ft 8:47 / mi
shoes: Hoka Mafate Speed

Warm weather, or at least high humidity, training. Our outdoor home thermometer said it was 74 degrees F and 99% RH. I didn't really need to check a psychro chart to know that calculates to 74 degrees DP (but I did check, and it did).

So the run was short, and another reason it was short is that the radar showed another batch of rain coming very shortly.

Pickleball 25:00 [2]

Hit around with Sumedha, who I hadn't played with in ages. She texted me that there was a work picnic at Greece Canal Park, and she thought there might be courts there (there were), so did I want to stop by and give her a chance to play a little. Due to schedules and other reasons, she said she's hardly played at all lately.

Running 49:13 [3] 5.41 mi (9:06 / mi) +100ft 8:56 / mi
shoes: Hoka Conquest

After pickleball, I went for a run from Henpeck Park. Canal path west to Manitou Rd, north to Ridge Rd, east to Elmgrove, and back to where I started. I was thinking that maybe I could find a trail into Greece Canal Park from Manitou, and I did see one but it looked pretty overgrown and I was concerned about ticks. Then I thought there might be an E-W road from Manitou to Elmgrove, between Ridgeway and Ridge, but there wasn't. Hence, all that way up to Ridge. Ridge Rd wasn't TOO bad as there was usually a sidewalk on one side or the other, but there were a few sections with no sidewalk. I was really fading at the end -- no surprise considering how little I've run lately.

AP said 384 feet of climb and there was no way it was that much. I changed it to 100 feet which still seems a bit high.

Pickleball 1:40:00 [2]

Webster Rec, indoors. Had one very competitive game, which I managed to be on the winning side of, 11-9. Other games were lower level but none were terrible.
