Note
(rest day)

Had considered doing the Green course unofficially (unofficial because I had seen the map, and had vetted controls 1-9). But I had a late night the last two nights (playing music), and wasn't feeling real energetic; plus I knew how brutal the Green course was going to be physically, based on my experience with 1-9. (I had seen quite enough of those hills while doing map updates and vetting ...) So I wimped out and took some pictures and helped with S/F for a while.

Running 38:13 [3] 4.13 mi (9:15 / mi)
shoes: Screw shoes Asics Kahana 2 Mar

Hojack Trail, with Homer. From Klem to North Ponds Park; once around the pond path; and back. Trail in decent shape except for the short section where it leaves the RR bed, goes through some woods, and comes out at the housing development near Holt Rd. That section was quite wet and muddy.

Running 47:47 [3] 5.64 mi (8:28 / mi)
weight:174lbs shoes: Screw shoes Asics Kahana 2 Mar

Mid-day run, between rain storms. Very steamy; low 70's but had to be near 100% humidity. Ran from home, to Maple, to Ridge, to 5 ML, to Rt 104 path to Maple. I went out pretty easy (about 3.25 miles at 8:44/mile up to 5ML/Ridge), then tried to pick it up a bit on the way back, going 2.4 miles at 8:07 pace. I kind of ran out of gas and wound up stopping my run on Maple a little north of Rt. 104, and walking the rest of the way. I realize I just need to HTFU and keep going even at a reduced pace, but I just didn't have it in me today.

Walking 12:00 [0] 0.7 mi (17:08 / mi)
shoes: Screw shoes Asics Kahana 2 Mar

Walking from Maple to home, after wimping out on the run.

Running 26:10 [2] 2.64 mi (9:55 / mi)
max:140 weight:177.5lbs shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 10

Trail run at Whiting Rd trail system.

Not real happy with the trend my weight has been taking lately. Need to run more and eat less (simple solution).
