Cheryl and I went to the road race portion of the Rochester Omnium. First we watched the field go by near North Rush, then we drove to the Gen. Valley Park area to watch the finish. We couldn't park very close so we wound up with about a mile walk from and to the car.

Dog walking. We're dog sitting for Joey, a rather heavy dog (who appears to be some sort of Newfoundland mix, but shorter than a true Newfoundland) who doesn't get much exercise at his home, but he seems to love going on walks.

Even though he waddles more than walks. I'm trying to improve his "fitness" and give him some enjoyment by taking him on increasingly longer walks, during his week with us. This walk went through the trail at the end of Woodland Lane, then over to the next street for a while, and back. He liked the walk a lot and didn't seem to be dragging too badly, although he plopped down on the floor immediately after getting home and didn't move for a while.
