Training Log Archive: Geoman

Took a taxi out to the village of Teotitlan. Walked around this weaving town. Had a great lunch of Atlanta as at a small restaurant that was recommended by Leslie’s friend. The owners warm and friendly, We are finding this .friendliness nearly everywhere in Mexico. Took the bus home.

More walking around Oaxaca. In the ebbening we saw the wonderful day of the dead parade.

We took the hour flight to Oaxaca. Waited on the street another long hour until our Air bnb host arrived home. Walked around the town that is filled with splashes of color. People are getting ready for the Day of the Dead celebrations. Had Chicken Mole for dinner. Listened to a very fine orchestra concert in the plaza by the Cathedral.

Big day of walking around Mexico City for Leslie and me. In the morning we walked to the Anthropology Museum, spending most of our two hours in the Mexica wing. In the afternoon spent another 2 hours in the Plaza Mayor Museum. All of this was wonderful for us, since we had studied the Mexica civilization. After the Musuem wondered around the city center and ate at a small bar/restaurant. Tomorrow we fly to Oaxaca.
