With one week left before The Sierra 3D, time to test the body to see if I an strong enough to hold it all together next week. The usual 5 mile Wildcat Canyon run was a good place to try this. Started out slowly to get warmed up before hitting the first set of hills. Felt sluggish most of the way to the turnaround but still had a split of 25:40. Not bad.
Then i decided to see if i could push it on teh way back. Still did not feel very well, but was strong enough to drive it home in 49:22. Fastest of the season. Looks OK for next week.

Woke up several times last night with calf cramps. What is happening to my legs? Took some MgCaZn. That helped.

After two days nursing a sore calf, i decided enough was enough and ran for 15 minutes. Not surprisingly I felt great. Nothing like fresh legs and a fresh mind. The calf tinge seems to be better as it didn't bother me during the run. Although I still can feel it tonight.
