Mike and I went to Clinton. I found an old course Mike had drawn for me that stays on trails. Perfect for today.

I felt a bit tired and off. I also need to read the map better. I thought the rock wall at 3 was a trail. And coming back, I was heading to the same place when instead I should have been looking at 13. Geez, the same mistake twice!

I tried to pick the correct trail location at 5 (off a little bit) and 13 (not bad). I also decided to skip 8 so that I could get back to meet Mike on time.

I saw a few hikers, but no runners or bikers. Woods are starting to look better. I cut through a few times, for short distances.

run/walk 30:00 [3]

I took a lesson from Mean Gene and ran home after dropping my car off at Firestone. I got an email bill in the middle of the day, so I assumed my car was ready. I ran back to the shop after work, but my car wasn't ready. So I ran home again.

It was 29 degrees today, probably the last warm day of the year.
At the end of the day, I started my vacation. I began with a glass of champagne in the back yard, enjoying the warm weather and beautiful trees.

Note

We are a small club and we have very few accounts with passwords. But we are finally registered as a non-profit, and now we have a Board and more secure accounts (such as PayPal). Question: how do other clubs share passwords among members? How do you protect access when Board members may change? How many people have access to the financial accounts? Looking for advice and best practices.

Mike and I went to Perry bike trails. I decided to re-run the "short" course from 2018. My plan was to stay on the trails as much as possible (since it's still a bit too early to go through the woods). But I would cut through the woods occasionally to save a lot of running around (the woods are starting to get passable). I also tried to keep moving (at a walking pace today).

This was a lot of fun, mostly because I got to walk through the crunchy leaves in the woods off trail. I hadn't done that since March and I missed that sound and sensation!
