A beautiful sunny day in Scotland (but not warm :) so I had to go for a short jog on the beach.

Then a long travel day from Glasgow to Reykjavik to KC. It was nice to stop in Reykjavik just as Iceland was playing a World Cup match. Lots of energy in the airport (although they lost). Then a new route that went nonstop to KC. So fabulous to go through customs in KC and head home. usually we have to go through the east coast or Chicago.

Walk with colleagues along the beach into town for dinner. Beautiful to be so far north on the summer solstice. And it was sunny today for a change!

A short easy shuffle near the famous golf club and the sea. Just enough to help reset my time zone. Stopped to watch some kite surfers (I think that is what they are called)

Up early to get in some training before a long travel day. Mike drew me a course on West Campus. I know this area well but I still made a small mistake.

Off to Scotland for work again. Don’t know how much training I’ll get in this week, but at least I did my weekly orienteering.
