orienteer 23:07 [3] 2.8 km (8:15 / km)

Possum Trot local sprint at Antioch park. Bad planning on my part, and left my O shoes and Garmin at home. Had to run in summer shoes, which at least had a strap to keep them on my feet. Easy navigation, but I still made a bad route choice from 9 to 10.

Went to Ikea for lunch after, met up with Sandy, Simon and Max. Some sewing and movie watching in the afternoon. Just a lazy day.

Hand drawn route (dashed lines to show some areas where I ran later in the course)

cycle 40:00 [2]

Rode to the movie theater and back with Mike. It was still 33 degrees out, very weird weather this summer. Cool in August, hot in September.

Lava Creek

We had time for one last hike before we had to head to Bozeman for our flight. Another new hike for us, although we had stopped to view the rapids from the road many times.

This was a good hike, but I was tired and lacking energy. When I look back, I see that I had put in 16 hours on my feet in the past week. Not very strenuous hiking, but still 16 hours is a long time for me. So I understand why I was tired.
