Saturday Aug 12 #

walk 1:00:00 [1]

Great day walking around London with my brother and sister-in-law. Visited their allotment garden, explored a walled garden, a nice church and the V&A Museum. Finished up with some fabric shopping and a visit to a pub. A very nice day.

Friday Aug 11 #

Note

Long travel day. Started yesterday, re-routed from Chicago to Newark. Finally made it to my brother's house in London late Friday. Hope to get some orienteering this weekend.

Slept late and then watched the women's world champs marathon. It was an exciting race.

Luckily it was a cool. overcast day, so I didn't have to worry about the heat. But I did have to worry about wet, sloppy trails. so I ran on the levy instead of going to Clinton.

The levy is completely flat, crushed gravel. I rarely run here. It was hard on my quads. But it was really fun to run in a different area and see lots of new sights; helped the time pass quickly.
