orienteer race (Night ) 36:30 [3] 3.1 km (11:46 / km) +76m 10:30 / km

Night-O at SMP. I was glad for the practice, glad it was a nice warm night. I almost forgot to talk to myself as I ran. I did manage to talk to myself the whole time but it didn't prevent me from making a big mistake at 2. I just talked about how I was lost and nothing made sense. So, a fail on two counts. After that I calmed down and managed to have a decent run.

orienteer 1:20:51 [3] 4.5 km (17:58 / km) +154m 15:21 / km

Mike and I went to Rockcrusher for practice. I decided to re-run a course from last year. Although it wasn't a "run". I ended up walking a lot of it because I was tired. I practiced speaking out loud, and that went fairly well. I stopped doing it as I got really tired near the end. It would have helped me realize that I never really went to 8.
