My plan was to go to campus to check out the construction area around Lindley Hall, and some possible control locations for National Geography Week. But I totally forgot about the KU football game (which is easy to do, they are so terrible this year). All parking lots have a $25 fee on game day. So I just parked in a loading dock for a few minutes, to get out and determine the boundary of the construction fence.
Had every intention of exercising tonight. But stayed late at work talking to my boss about a (possible) radical change in my job duties, then had just a few minutes to eat before meeting Sandy and her boys at the KU Student Symphony Halloween concert. The concert is always fun, and it was a good way to get my mind off work.
Vetting some control locations on the Possum Trot course. I hadn't been at SMP for so long, I forgot how nice the trails are. Woods are starting to thin out, will be great by Nov 22.
Ran back to the car on roads because it was close to sun down.
In other news, we're placing an order for OK jerseys. Any non-OKers out there who secretly covet the pink and white chex? Let me know and I'll send you the link and password to enter the "storefront", and you can order one for yourself.
A perfect day, 15, no wind, not a cloud in the sky. Isn't autumn wonderful?
Nice trail run at Clinton. The leaves are starting to fall, so one can see the lake every once in a while. Didn't see any bikers or runners, but did see several groups of hikers enjoying the day.
