Insanely crazy day at work, with lots of political crap. Was so nice to come home and move around a bit, before opening up some wine. Let the weekend begin :)

Quick little outing on west campus, with some artificial fences drawn on the map. Maybe I should have worn my magnifying glasses, because I DQd going through a fence from 2-3. Didn't notice it at the time, but figured it out on the way to 4, This was fun, I tried to keep the pace high and read on the run.
Today's training didn't go as planned. I was leaving the house around 10 AM, to get in a short run, before coming home to watch the Giants on TV (which is rare here in KC) when I noticed my tire was flat. So Mike helped me change it, and then I drove to Walmart and waited 1.5 hours to get it fixed. Had to listen to the game on my phone for the first quarter. Made it home to watch the rest of the game, with some erging in the basement during the 3rd quarter.

After the game, I went out to explore some new houses in the Lawrence Parade of Homes to get design ideas. Amazing how ugly some expensive houses can be, or how much wasted space there is. Made me appreciate our house more (even if the bathrooms need to be updated).
Also saw many odd new street names, including "Andrew John St", "Silver Rain St" and Ft Laramie St"
Then I stopped by Clinton for the short trail run that I tried to do in the morning. Perfect temps, lots of hikers on the trails.
