Easy day but lots of fun. Spent the day sewing with my 10 year old neice in NY. This was our Christmas present for her. We went fabric shopping, cut out the fabric and did some sewing today. Should finish tomorrow
Killing time @BWI. When I googled for exercise at BWI, I found that they had just launched a terminal walking loop. They mapped out 1k routes. I did a few brisk loops. I had to stop to give my shoulders and hips a rest in between each lap (I have a heavy carryon bag, and it pulled my body out of whack)

Almost forgot to orienteer this week! Close call...
Some fun sightings tonight:
1. Mike, coming back from his run
2. A dozen deer grazing on the hill
3. A dead crow near my second control
4. A man walking home on the trail. We scared each other, but then stopped to talk about what I was doing. He had heard of O and was happy to hear a bit of ovangelism.
Another cold night and I just didn't feel like going outside. But I didn't want to row either. So I dug around and found an old aerobics DVD (Denise Austen) and jumped around the basement tonight. I remember when this used to be so hard and I couldn't do it all (aerobically). Now the aerobics was fine, I was just uncoordinated with following directions; I had forgotten the lingo. I had also forgotten that these are a fun way to cross train. I wonder if they still make step aerobics DVDs????
I was a weather wimp (high of 18 today) and stayed indoors all day. Good thing I can get some exercise while watching football, otherwise I would have been a slug all day.
No socializing for a few days in a row, almost makes me look forward to going back to work tomorrow. Almost. I have enjoyed this mini-"retirement"/vacation. I could definitely do this full time.....
