Some times, I can be a bit nutty about training numbers. I have a 2 year streak of orienteering at least once a week, and tonight was my last chance to orienteer this week, and I couldn't let it go. So I asked Mike to draw me a short course on west campus.
Now, I know this area well, so this was pushing it to call it O training. So, I added a few conditions to up the intensity:
1. ran with out a magnifier or compass
2. ran at sprint race pace
3. ran the whole time without stopping
I did slow down near #6 because the trees are now gone, and I was trying to guess where they had been. So I took a guess and took a split. Then, a few steps later, I found the stumps in the ground, and "punched" again.
Nice mild evening, fun to run, even though it was so short.
My route.
