Note
(sick)

The gods are against me. I picked up a f*%#+*g cold from a coworker. Timing totally sucks, only one week till the relay. Lots of rest, coldeze and wishful thinking for me this week.

Tonight's torture move: side plank on one forearm, while the other arm lifts a 5 lb weight from mat to straight up in the air. 10 repeats. Each side. 3X. Oh yeah, right.

Some easy night O practice on west campus. The main goal was to get used to reading a map again with the headlight. I had to adjust my head to be able to read through the map case and the magnifier. Walked around tonight, just because I didn't feel like running, for some reason. HR strap no longer sits flush against my chest, so the HR readings were totally wonky. I think I need to buy one of those super flexible HR straps.

Long distance at Clinton, with 7 jog/3 walk repeats. Since I had never gone out for this long before, I decided to take it very easy. Made myself jog slowly, and walk up even the slightest incline. It was a good strategy, since I was tired at the end, but not completely dead. Beautiful morning
