Two OK racess today. Spent time hanging and retrieving controls, and working start and finish. Pretty good attendance, and folks seemed to enjoy my courses. We're on track to hit our goal of +10% in attendance this year. Most encouraging were the three kids from Raintree School (as a result of Reta's training this week). Everyone seemed to like the mass start format, and managed to survive the heat, thanks to Gene's popsicles. Thanks to Spike for hanging controls on West Campus.

Tested this weekend's Mt Oread course. Since it was 95 degrees out, I mostly walked. Tried to jog a few times, to see how my right knee felt. Oddly enough, both of my knees felt achy tonight (but not painful) except for one tweak of the right knee when I turned suddenly. Weird. Think I'll continue to take it easy for a little while longer. Good thing I have no expectations for th US Champs in a few weeks, or else I would be really bummed.
