Sprint at JCCC today. Tried to be clean and prepare for leaving the control, knowing which route I wanted to take to the next control.

Did OK, except for (edit) 2 to 3. First, was not paying attention and swung too wide around the building. Second, I thought the out-of-bounds meant you couldn't use the underground parking garage, but I was wrong. I shouldn't have run through the upper parking lot either. I told them I was DQ'd but they didn't care for a local meet.

Pace was good, legs felt pretty good, glad I was able to keep moving well. Finished with a fun sprint :)

walked over to west campus and re-ran the 2009 KS champs course. I hadn't run the whole course before, as far as I can remember. It was fun. Only a few twinges in the IT band/hamstring/whatever. Certainly getting better.

Added some stuff to the home gym today. I've been using what ever table or chair was handy for my weight work, which got old. So I bought a real padded bench to use instead.

Also, we used to have a borrowed Nordic Track, which I enjoyed. The owners are using theirs now, so I found one on Craigslist for $35. It will be nice to have another option for indoor cross-training in the hot weather.

Now we need a few more O posters to join the ones we already have, and the room will be complete!
