On the trails at Clinton. Warm and humid, and I was sleepy. Took me a while to feel comfortable moving, but I was OK by the end.

My leg is still swollen and very bruised. Whole ankle and side of foot look bad, so it seems like I had a bad sprain. But I feel no pain, and had no problems running. Very weird.

cycle 25:00 [1]

Short ride with Mike. Perfect way to kick off the weekend.

cycle 20:00 [1]

a nice little spin in the lovely warm evening air.

Finally scanned my maps and downloaded by tracks from this weekend. Boy, they're not pretty. I need to do some analysis and write up some notes before I post them here.

Note

The part of me that hurts the most are my quads. Obviously, more hill work is needed. Surprisingly, the rest of my legs don't hurt, although they're not very pretty.

I had an OK run. Not great, not bad. I need to get in shape.

Now spending some time chasing our niece and nephew around.

Fun weekend. More later.

day 2 map

Some comments:
--Pleased with my approach to 3, and that I didn't wander too much when I first missed it.
--Totally brain dead, with no plan, on the way to 5. Hit a trail, and was totally confused. Too much wandering, in the wrong areas.
--Seven was really annoying. I was within 10 meters of the control, but I failed to notice I was down one contour line. Instead, I decided to stick to my plan of bailing out to the trail to relocate. Sigh.
