Long slow day at Clinton. 10 min warm up, then 9 repeats of 8 jog/2 walk, then 10 min cool down. First rep felt tough, next few were fine, last three were tough. I was tired; but then, that was the point of this exercise, wasn't it ? :)

Time to build up some speed again. Following the same Runner's World plan, which worked well for me the first time I did it (about two years ago).

We drove my sister to the airport, and then ran at one of our old haunts, Wyandotte lake. It was hazy hot and humid. I had eaten and drunk too much this weekend, and didn't sleep enough either. So no surprise that this was a tough day for me. It helped a lot when Mike joined me after 20 minutes; the conversation made the time fly by.
