run/walk 20:00 intensity: (8:00 @1) + (2:00 @3) + (10:00 @4)

4X (2w/3j)

Legs were tired, and I was sleepy, so HR was pretty high. Chilly, windy day at Clinton. Mike did some field checking while I explored the trails using the basic map.

walk 30:00 [1]

on the trails at Clinton overlook.

walk warm up/down 7:00 [1]

run/walk 18:00 intensity: (3:00 @1) + (15:00 @3)

on the trails at Clinton. 3X (1 walk/5 jog)

Ice and ibuprofen afterward. I felt some pain after the run on Tuesday, and tonight, I felt a tweak or two during the run. Decided to be safe. I think I'll tone down the running and up the walking for a little while.

Bought a "new" car today. Never before had such a young 'un (2008 Corolla, 24K miles). Never before had 4 speakers that work. Never before bought from a commercial establishment. Never before spent more than $8000. Can you tell I'm not a car person? I'm enjoying the quiet engine, and the warnings that the keys are inside or the lights are still on (I need those warnings!)

Anyone want a 97 Corolla with 210K miles?

Note

Only exercise today was walking from the parking lot to the stadium, and then jumping up and down, cheering the Giants to victory. Great game, great weather, great company.
