My physical therapist gave me a "get back to running" plan to follow, and today was the first day. I did three repeats of 4 walk/1 jog. The jogging felt easy, as it should. It also felt odd. But it was nice to be running on grass again (flat, mowed area of Clinton SP). The plan gets me up to 20 minutes in four weeks. Slow but steady progress; it will be hard to be patient.
I haven't run continuously for this long in a while. It was boring tonight because I had to use a lane (back and forth she goes). Thought it was pretty easy, physically, until I got out of the water. My legs felt like lead.
