Set a short course on campus that deliberately went up and down the hill a few times, to get in the mood for West Point. Campus was surprisingly crowded at 4 pm on a Sunday; I had a hard time finding parking.
I walked the whole time because my legs are really tired from a couple of hard days in a row. But to compensate, I told myself I could never stop walking. Therefore I really concentrated on the route choice from 11 to 12 and didn't notice that I was navigating to the original point 12, and not the one I had overdrawn on this course. One problem with grabbing an old map to design a new course! Also, good reminder of how easy it is to loose concentration in a sprint-like setting.
