Green course at Cle Elum Ridge, part of Northwest Forest Frenzy. Did not like running on the uneven ground, so walked the whole way.

Orienteering race 27:30 [3]

Sprint at Cle Elum High School. I love sprints.

Orienteering race 1:00:00 [2]

Cle Elum Street Scramble with Sally Dow and Tracy Whelan. Super fun. We walked about 75% of the way, yet won the women's class.

Standup paddling 25:00 [1]

Kerie showed me how to do standup paddling on the Deschutes River in Bend. This is where you stand up on an ordinary surfboard (or in our case windsurfing board) with a long paddle on flat water. For the first 5 seconds I was desperately trying not to fall off and wanted to return to shore immediately; for the next 90 seconds I continued to focus all my energy on staying upright. Then I started to sort of feel like I was getting the hang of it.

I liked it.
