Middle distance red West Point.
Very large error: wearing those red O shoes that give me blisters. Very very bad.

Sprint. Did this in my flip-flop-like slipper sandal things so that I wouldn't have shoe touching my blistered heels. They don't stay on very well. It was very hot.

Note
I'm counting this as a passing day; was approximate on the bedtime due to rogaine comm call...
Mom and Dad left town today, which always has me feeling out of sorts and vaguely guilty (we didn't play bridge! I didn't review Dad's book!)...
In honor of the upcoming trip to Mount Rushmore, I give you this photo of the backside(s):
90-minute score-O at Bob's Bow map. Nice to have some serious navigation practice; it's a great map for that. Weather turned out to be great; we'd been expecting drizzle. Dave beat me by 4 controls but was a minute over time. Dean got 13 controls (one more than me) but was enough overtime that he went negative on his final score. Saw Alar in the woods which was surprising after he'd passed and I remembered that he'd moved to western Canada, but maybe they've moved back and I forgot that they did? Ernst was out in front with 22 controls when we left.
