I spent some time last night and this morning trying to make sense of the finances.
I wanted, among other things, to put together the board designated funds from the team fund spreadsheets maintained by Peter Goodwin, with the financial reports that Robin creates. Going forward it would be really good to have them all be generated by Robin...
To work and back, and to Fresh Pond and back. Really felt like a slog coming back, which is probably a good thing.
The score-O went really well. The students had been read the riot act by their teachers about their behavior, and were much better behaved. Also, the activity was simpler, and they had experienced this format before.
Katia, Ethan and Diego helped. Ethan hung the controls, made the courses, printed the maps, etc.
biked to the school for the relays, and back to work, and then home. Went really fast (for me).
The relays were OK, but not as awesome as I had anticipated. Mainly because it was still too complicated, even though I was trying to be simpler.
Tomorrow, Ethan and I will put on a relay for 85 8th graders.
Thursday, we will take them to Fresh Pond for a score-O.
Next Friday, they will go to Boojum Rock for another team score-O.
Today is a big day for me.
In the morning, Ethan and I will meet with the junior high teachers for our upcoming fall project.
In the afternoon, I will have an important talk with my boss.
I'm not sure how/whether to run an AMA on a more popular forum, because it seems like it might be nice for all the candidates to participate, and we haven't set that up yet. So I'm going to give it a dry run here. I am a candidate for the OUSA Board of Directors; ask me anything.
7 am group run at the ECCB conference. Isak ran too, but he was up front, and it didn't really count as much of a training session for him. For me, it was major. We ran around a wooded park in the Hague, and stopped a couple of times to do some exercises and get a group photo taken.

Yoga session at the conference. It's sad how hard it is for me to raise my arms slowly.
