mtn bike 2:42:43 [3] 16.26 mi (6.0 mph) +678m

Work had a party up above Santa Rosa in the afternoon, so I went down early with the mtb and went for a ride in Annadel. Trails were nice - lots of rocky bits, but nothing steep or too long.

kayak 1 [0] 3.29 mi ( / mi)

Work party, which was nominally a "rafting" trip. Though the river was flat so it was actually a two hour squirt gun fight.

Up around the back of Castle Peak and Basin, then back over the top of both. This was just about the right speed and distance, I felt fine until the end, then just tired, never cramped up. A fair amount of snow on the back side trail, but nothing uncrossable.

Saw a 15 passenger [burner?] van getting towed out of the woods about a mile in (the dirt road) from the trailhead. It wasn't flipped or anything, but not at an angle that could be loaded on the truck. This wasn't going to be cheap.
