You'd think would get old. But it doesn't. A little bit of snow last night, and a solid hard freeze made for some nice crust. There's a respectable crevasse opening up along Far Side where the cornice is pulling away from the ridge, its a couple hundred feet long and 10-20' deep.

Nice and frozen, perfect corn. Went up to the tippy top, then out the far side ridge, then some sweet corn snow turns down the bowl and the front of the mountain.

Up a jeep road in Boca for a while. Right after it started going back down in the correct direction, and just when I told myself this was going to make a really great loop, the road dead ended in the middle of a big burn area. So a little bushwhacking straight down towards the reservoir (through a steep canyon stream bottom for a while) and I ended up in the right spot. Which according to the new threshold of Boca runs, the right spot is "not descending into the shooting range".
