Ski-o for the Super Sliders juniors at ASC.

And in a stroke of SI related knowledge yesterday I realized that when the course starts and finishes in the same spot like this you don't have to use separate start/finish punches, but instead you can use a single punch (label it "Start/Finish" or something), and the timing just happens between its two punch records. Sticks work fine, timing works fine, fewer thing to worry about.

Pretty fantastic late afternoon ski. Snow was all glazed and speedy, and the HF10 was on fire. This has been a pretty solid week, I'm glad tapering isn't allowed for the Great Race.

Skiing is awesome, but skiing somewhere is even awesomer. The Great Race course is groomed all the way through, so I skied it up and over with Anna and Bill and lots of other people from truckee.

Had all day to kill before flying home, so we drove down to Eau Claire to find some snow at Tower Ridge ski trails. Greasy squishy snow, but at least there was some, and there were lots of trails. Mostly dead flat, but it would make a solid area for ski-o, even more so if you spent a couple days in the woods with a hedge trimmer. Somebody call up the eau claire ski-o club.
