orienteering race 16:05 [4] 3.49 km (4:36 / km) +8m 4:33 / km

Last day in NB, so we made orienteering. Carol's dad setup stuff with the beach park here by the cottage and got a few people from ONB (and Pam) to come out. I drew a map mostly with some sweet aerial ghettocadding and a little bit of legit field checking. And there was touchless awesomesauce. map1 and map2.

swim 1 [3] 0.42 km (2 / km) +1242m / km

Put the garmin on running mode instead of swimming mode, for basically the same swim as yesterday. Many more data points, though not necessarily more correct ones. Also I win the swimming elevation gain competition. I'm gonna guess that -250m might be about what you get when you put a barometric altimeter under an arms length of water, but I'll leave that math as an excersize for the reader.

Run into town, to the end of the bike path with Carol's dad, then on my own out to the giant lobster.

run 38:45 [3] 4.04 mi (9:35 / mi) +12m 9:30 / mi

Got back just as Carol and Emily were heading out, so I went again with them for another loop.
