road bike 2:05:15 [3] 28.53 mi (13.7 mph) +1070m

Went for a road ride while Carol and Zan were running their trail race. Not the greatest route though, all uphill 2000' slog at the beginning, then a short bit of rolling stuff at the top, then the boring downhill back down to town. I felt pretty wiped from not really sleeping for the last couple days, and also probably eating cheeseburgers for most meals since Wednesday.

run 53:51 [3] 3.47 mi (15:31 / mi) +510m 10:39 / mi

In LA, because I sortof work here now.
Ran up the mountain above Glendale to one of the radio towers. Had sketchy directions to get onto one of the good trails, did them wrong, and got on a crappy steep one instead. It got better the higher I got though, and I came back down along another ridge that looked like a bigger trail. It was totally dark by the time I got back to the bottom though, so the last bit was sortof exciting.

roller ski 45:09 [3] 12.26 km (3:41 / km) +163m 3:27 / km

Its September, so time to start rollerskiing. I'm pretty sure I said that at the beginning of July too.
They paved the second half of the campground road, all the way out to the boat launch, so now its all sexy smooth rollerski awesomeness.

hiking 15:00 [1] 1.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

We found a lava tube a bit outside the park, so went to check that out and wander around inside for a bit.

hiking 2:00:00 [1] 5.78 mi (20:46 / mi) +448m 16:44 / mi

A super sandy hike out to the Cinder Cone on the north side of the park. Like walking on the beach for five miles, with a random 1500' climb on even looser sand in the middle. Very cool place, but a lot of work for not much walking.
