hiking 45:00 [3] 2.0 mi (22:30 / mi)

Hiking in to our campsite at pt reyes. Surprisingly hot, after we left 20 degree truckee in the morning.

Also we did a three hour or so barefoot walk on the beach looking for nonexistent tidepools, which made all my bits hurt.

Wednesday night at Donner Lake. A little bit snowy, but nothing on the ground, just wet. Cold though.

Super duper windy outside, but the ground was all frozen so the dust was totally solid and very nice to rid.

Wilderness Scramble, aka 3-hour score-o, at Boggs. Felt ok for the first half, then got into lots of steep uphill part and was pretty tired by 2:30. Had to skip my third to last one from time, it had a giant climb through green to get to, which definitely would have put me overtime. Ended up fourth behind the three guys who cleaned it. Navigation was ok, I had a bunch of mistakes, mostly from just tuning out and not really reading the map. Got stung by a bee early on which hurt a lot for the rest of it, stabbed myself in the foot with a pointy log, and saw the most gigantic lizard/salamander ever (like an inch in diameter and more then a foot long, I thought it was a snake until I saw legs).
