In NYC for a friend's wedding. Got halfway here, then the plane broke in MSP so we left a couple hours late, then the rental car company had no cars (as in, the entire 3 story garage was somehow perfectly empty) so they were driving them over individually from JFK (to LGA) which took a while. Anyway got here with a couple hours to spare, and outside looks fairly unappealing to run through, so I found the treadmill in the basement. First time I've ever actually run a treadmill. Not the most fun thing ever.

Ride with Jonis up to Drifter and then around the ridge. Seemed like there was extra bonus horse crap on the trail today. Cold outside, even with long sleeves on.

My shoulders are pretty sore, I'm assuming from yesterday. I was going to go rollerski in the morning but then I got on a roll coding monkeys (actually gorillas), so instead I just did 10 pushups everytime the game crashed. It crashes a lot.

Carol's compass training excercise. Did it at a jog and pretty much nailed everything. I did wimp out and go around on the trail for 18-19, as it turns out the straight line is mapped as a loose interpretation of passable green.

went out to the end of the ridge to take top view pictures of the start of the Donner Lake Triathlon, which Jonis and a few other people we know were doing this morning. A few laps through the lake and then a ride up the pass.
