TT Long. So I didn't really have too much fun today. I thought almost all the terrain sucked, and I bonked well before the finish. Thought I had brought some GUs in the car, but they were in the other backpack at the hotel, and I had last start so everybody to mooch off of was already out.

TT Middle. Ok run, a bunch of little mistakes, but none I was really unhappy with considering how much running/navigation I've actually done lately.

TT Sprint. This went really well. The legs were all pretty simple so I could memorize two or three at a time, only made one mistake going to 17, stayed too high and ran almost to 7, which might have been 20s or so.

Running with Alex around the streamers at Pole Brook. Then we went to Friendys and got ice cream to celebrate Ross's birthday. I'm sure he would have enjoyed it if he was there.

CSU Park-O at Franklin park. Chasing Jeff Saeger for the first couple controls, caught him at 2 but then took a different route to 3 and made a mistake looking for a not-quite trail. A little confused at 5 from some missing white on the map. Finally got in front of Jeff at 7 and never saw him again. Paused standing right above 9 because from where I was the cliff looked like a boulder, so I spent a bit trying to figure that out. Then to 10 I completely missed the fact that there was a tunnel under the road, so I spent about a minute waiting for traffic to clear so I could get across. Bad route choice getting out of 11 (went straight), then got confused to 14 on a mystery set of stairs that was mapped as a little trail? Didn't have to think for the finish leg since I could just run straight towards the ghetto blaster music from the cars next to the start area.
Also after the finish I glanced at the watch to check my time and read 15:56, which I was surprisingly happy with until I was driving home and trying to figure out how I did that for a 4.5k course, which is probably faster than I could do on a track. Turns out I was looking at the clock time section of the watch (it was 7pm but the watch was still on west coast time). So I really ran 25 mins, which makes more sense.
