been feeling a bit sick for the last few days (everybody else at work is already), so I've been skipping the morning workouts for some extra sleep. maybe tomorrow morning...

red course at Topanga. not so fun. the map is normally just green with trails, so the courses end up being trail runs. but there were a couple misplaced controls (in a row) in badly mapped sections that really took any fun out of it. and I got covered in poision oak. we'll see how that turns out later this week.

Greg's yearly hill run, as a stand-in for Dad's daily hill run.
picked up dad on his 12 hour layover at LAX while flying through to Austrailia for the world rogaine champs. ran the Temescal canyon loop in its full dusty glory.
