skate ski 1:10:00 [1] 10.0 km (7:00 / km)

2k warmup before. 8k roaming around the trails afterwards.

skate ski 1:01:57 [4] 15.0 km (4:08 / km)

Chimney Rock 15k skate race in Sequoia NP.
It didn't freeze overnight, and by the time it started at 10am, it was sunny and 60*. So the snow didn't stand a chance, it was all mashed potato consistency very quickly (fortunately there was 8 feet of it). And I had my wax wrong which made it tougher. Still ok though, 3rd in my age catagory, maybe 12th overall.

Anza Borrego Day 2 Blue
Pretty beat after both races yesterday, and a good bit dehydrated from the sun (in the desert? who would have thought). We had a 1.5k leg in the middle that I messed up and, in a blatantly stupid parallel error, started searching for the control 400m too short. That involved a lot of extra hill climbing and pretty much wore me out. Unfortunately the last 3k of the course after that was all uphill, so that didn't go so fast either.

Maze-O
A 1:5000 map that was 50% totally impassable cliffs, slot canyons, and dirt walls, and the other 50% was slightly passable cliffs, slot canyons, and dirt walls. The actual terrain was much more rugged than it looks like on the map. Pretty fun. Got lost a bit.
