Ran the medium length course at Kapooka. Steady pace until felt tightness in the Achilles at around 4 km so slowed right up. Highlight was the steam train coming past as we headed out.

Nice course down at Walbundrie for our 3rd Interclub with AWOC. Right Achilles heavily strapped and took it very cautiously. OK on the flat and downhills but no strength going uphill. A couple of silly errors: too high on 5 and then over ran 19 (got caught up running with another competitor!). Happy to get 3rd behind Deb and Leigh. Hopefully progressing well enough to be competitive at QBIII in 2 weeks time.
